Job vacancy – Research Assistant, Department of Sociology
For the project “The Contemporary Czech Family” we are looking for a colleague to join us as a research assistant.
Duties: assistance with data preparation and with programming statistical procedures for ongoing methodological research using data from The Contemporary Czech Family survey.
Workload: 10–20 hours per week, remunerated under a short-term work contract (DPP/DPČ, to be agreed). Immediate start.
Duration: until the end of 2026. Extension is subject to performance and to the continuation of funding. In 2027 there is the possibility of moving to a regular employment contract.
Requirements: at least a bachelor’s degree in sociology (or a related field), knowledge of statistics and data analysis. Ability to work in STATA/R/Python. Fluent English, spoken and written. Familiarity with GGP data is an advantage.
